Figure 1 shows the user attempting to roll on to the back. It shows pouch and insert (due to size, partial circumference mounting and shoulder placement) rotating and pressing against upper torso-spinal area. This creates a slight pressure on spine and lower neck area tilting the head slightly back while parallel to bed (jaw will move slightly forward and tongue will fall sideways) which helps keep airway open. On the shirt garment the sleeve besides helping to keep pouch in place creates an almost undetectable slight pressure which in combination with shirt pillow helps cause user in deeper stages of sleep to assume position in Figure 2. Figure 2 shows user in a 90 degree or greater position toward stomach creating the head to be tilted towards bed. This also creates a gravitational situation for the mouth to close slightly and the jaw to move forward and tongue and surrounding muscle areas to fall toward frontal and side areas which helps to maintain airway. Sleeper would be using their normal sleeping environment while accomplishing this.
Pillow Diameters are 6” for Medium and Large and 8” for Larger size shirts. 12” Length for all size shirts.
